Goodbyes...

These last two days have been very emotional for me.

Yesterday afternoon my Family and I lost a dear friend to cancer. 

Oom Gert lost his battle with cancer yesterday afternoon. He was a steadfast Pillar in our community, He was always the first to react and help in any situation. He had no fear and a heart as big as the universe. 

OOm gert always used to tease me about why I went to hospital, He said I only ever went to hospital to go and check out all the cute male doctors :-) I wasnt really sick, I was just doctor hunting. Haha.

You always knew when Oom Gert was around, you could hear his little yellow Kalahari Ferrari a mile away. We are going to miss you so much.

He was a wonderful man. And may he rest in Peace. May you have a special place in Heaven.

This morning I found out that I lost a dear friend, and Fellow CF Fighter.

I have known Landi for the past 7 years of my life. The past 18 months have been very difficult for her, and last night her body decided to give up.

Her suffering has finally ended. She is no longer in pain. 

Landi you will be missed dearly. You always had a smile on your face. 

Steve Biko will miss you greatly.

We will always remember you, and your gorgeous shoes and super sexy nails.

My thoughts, prayers and condolences are with Landi's mom. May you stay strong and the angels guide you.

Life is full of surprises, You never know what tomorrow holds.

Take care of yourself, and tell the people you love, that you Love them.
